Elite 2026 wide receiver Cederian Morgan names top 6 schools

Alexander City (Ala.) Benjamin Russell four-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan is down to six schools, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Friday.
Among the remaining contenders are Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Colorado, Alabama, and Georgia.
Morgan is the nation’s No. 18 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 3 wide receiver in the class and the No. 2 recruit from the state of Alabama.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder previously named his top 10 earlier this month, a list that included all of the above schools, as Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Miami. The new group has a heavy southeast focus, save for the Buffaloes.
Auburn and Alabama — the two in-state schools — are considered the major contenders for Morgan as it stands today. He is coming off visits to both programs in the past month.
“The vibe was great,” Morgan told On3. “The coaching staff really showed me that I was a top guy for them. We sat down an talked like we were all family and they also did the same with my family.”
His visit with the Tigers took place the week before.
“The environment is amazing,” Morgan said of his trip to The Plains. “The fans, coaches and family, it all feels like a big family. I get excited every time I’m here.”
As a junior this fall, he hauled in 70 passes for 1,162 yards and 14 scores. He’s also a standout in track and field, hitting 6’4 in the high jump as a sophomore.
