Elite 2026 EDGE Zion Elee Recaps Oregon Saturday Night Live Visit
One of the top defensive players in the 2026 class was another huge key to the Saturday Night Live event. As we know the staff has made getting an early jump on the upcoming classes a massive priority.
St. Frances Academy (Md.) EDGE Zion Elee was one of the highest ranked players in attendance on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder is the No. 12 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 2 ranked EDGE nationally.
The four-star didn’t mince words when talking about his Oregon visit.
“Oregon was definitely my best visit yet,” Elee told ScoopDuck. “I spent most of my time with coach Kamran (Araghi) and coach Tosh (Lupoi). A good highlight of my time was yesterday where we had a workout session with the linebackers coaches and dropped me a few pieces of knowledge to improve my game.”
Tosh Lupoi has made a strong early impression on the elite EDGE.
“Our relationship has just bloomed. I like his coaching style and what they have to offer at Oregon.”
Elee had some company with him on the visit.
“I had my mother and my former coach from Joppatowne with me. They loved the experience and would love to come back down. They think the school is a nice choice for me and that I should keep my eye on it.”
The four-star did more than just the SNL camp in Eugene.
“I went downtown in Eugene with a couple of the Oregon players and had a good time. It was a lot of fun.”
It looks like Elee will make some more headlines in the coming week.
“I’m dropping a top five Saturday. And yes Oregon is on the list.”
