Elite 2025 WR Naeshaun Montgomery returning to USC just days after first visit
West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman four-star wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery made his first visit to USC this week.
Montgomery is the No. 77 overall prospect and No. 12 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 14 player in Florida.
On3 ranks Montgomery higher than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 47 overall prospect and No. 10 wide receiver.
Montgomery’s visit was not long but it was enough to leave a mark on him. When WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader talked to him today in Los Angeles, Montgomery said he is actually returning to campus tomorrow. This visit is expected to be a bit more in depth.
Being a Florida native, it is not often Montgomery will get the chance to visit, so he is using his time wisely. And his first visit he says gives him every reason to return.
“It was just a great experience,” Montgomery said.
Even though he has seen much that USC has to offer to this time, what he has seen impressed him.
“The coaches definitely,” when asked what made the visit great.
“Definitely showing a lot of love. And just the people on the campus, it was just really nice.”
On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound prospect holds 10 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Miami currently holds the lead in his recruitment at 36.1% with Florida trailing at 31.5%. LSU and Penn State are also above 10%.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Montgomery currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

“Montgomery was the monster on the outside. He showed off his pure speed and smooth route running all day on Sunday. He found himself wide open in the back of the end zone on multiple occasions after putting defensive backs on skates. His hip fluidity and smoothness when getting in and out of his breaks was second to none this afternoon. Montgomery was also able to show off his contested catch ability in the tournament final scoring two touchdowns of his own on deep balls down the sideline.“
