EA Sports ranks Oklahoma, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium as No. 8 in Toughest Places to Play rankings

The EA Sports College Football 25 video game represents one of the most highly anticipated releases in history as EA Sports will put a modern twist on a classic game that hasn’t been made since NCAA Football 14.
The new game will feature several classic and iconic game modes and features along with some new additions. One being the importance and impact of homefield advantage, with some stadium environments making it tougher on opponents both in real life and now virtually on the game.
With that in mind, EA Sports released a ranking of the toughest places to play in college football, ranking that will be reflected in EA Sports College Football 25. Placing the home of the Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma Memorial Stadium No. 8 in the rankings on Tuesday as a part of their Rankings Week rollout ahead of the game’s highly anticipated July 19 release.
EA College Football 25’s ranking of the toughest places to play in College Football 25 factored in historical stats such as home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more. And there’s no doubt that over the years there aren’t many places in the country that are as rich in tradition and are as tough to play as Memorial Stadium in Norman.
Affectionately as the “Palace on the Prairie”, Memorial Stadium broke ground in 1922 and now seats a capacity of 80,126 fans. A ruckus stadium environment that will be thrilling for college football fans and games alike to dive into once EA College Football 25 is released to the masses.
