Dylan Crews continues LSU tradition, flashes ‘ring me’ celebration at College World Series

Dylan Crews is so close to winning a national championship. LSU is in the midst of blowing Florida out in Game 3, capping off what has been a magical College World Series run in impressive fashion. For somebody who could have gone professional straight out of high school, Monday night has to be an incredible feeling for Crews.
Even with the game out of hand, Crews has found a way to deliver. In Crews’ second to last plate appearance as a college player, he was able to rip a triple in the right-center alley, sliding in head-first. Crews called time and stood up before pulling out a familiar celebration.
‘Ring me’ was what Crews pointed out toward the LSU dugout. Don’t worry, Dylan. Those will be coming in the near future.

This is nothing new from Crews. In fact, those in Baton Rouge are getting quite used to seeing this celebration. Joe Burrow pulled off the move when the football program finished off a dominant season in 2019. Angel Reese then followed suit in March when women’s basketball got the job done earlier this year.
Now, it’s Crews’ turn to celebrate.
