Duncanville vs. DeSoto matchup headlined by SMU commits and targets
It doesn’t get much bigger than this Friday’s matchup between No. 1 Duncanville and No. 6 DeSoto, according to On3 Massey Ratings. SMU recruits are all over the field with numerous commits and multiple targets in action.
It’s the top high school football game in the country this week, which can be watched for free on WFAA+ streaming app, WFAA.com, or the WFAA YouTube channel. Game time is set for 7 p.m. CT with Massey Ratings predicting a classic, but DeSoto predicted to win 35-34. Last year, the Eagles beat the Panthers in the rivalry matchup.
Both teams have won multiple state championships in the past few seasons and it’s as loaded as you could want with prospects. Duncanville is No. 2 nationally, according to Massey Ratings.
The SMU commits on the field include DeSoto four-star wideout Daylon Singleton and three-star safety Sael Reyes. Duncanville has three-star defensive backs Tyren Polley and Javion Holiday on the field battling for the Panthers.
