Drew Stevens learns from last season

After an outstanding freshman season, Drew Stevens faced a bit of adversity in his sophomore season. That was particularly true in the final few weeks of the season, which saw him replaced as Iowa’s placekicker for a game winning field goal against Nebraska.

Last year, Stevens finished the season 18-26 overall and only 6-12 from beyond 40 yards last season. The junior to be kicker spoke for the first time since his struggles late last year about what it was like for him to face the adversity and what he learned from that experience.
