Dominic Pitelli’s three-run bomb gives Miami an early lead over Texas

Miami already kept their season alive earlier today with an 8-5 win over Louisiana. Now, thanks to Dominic Pitelli, the Hurricanes are feeling good early against Texas in the Coral Gables Regional.

The Hurricane’s defense did what they need to do to end the first inning. Then, after both Zach Levenson and Blake Cyr were hit by pitches, Pitelli made it worth their trouble by hitting a bomb, while also adding some extra flare afterward, which put the ‘Canes up early with a 3-0 lead.
