Deion Sanders: Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter will play in Colorado bowl game
Deion Sanders said his son Shedeur Sanders, as well Travis Hunter, will play in Colorado’s bowl or postseason game following the regular season finale.
At the very least, Colorado will get a 13th game after Saturday’s finale against Oklahoma State. Since both are NFL Draft bound, there’s a thought both could sit out of the postseason to rest up for pro preparation.
Not on Deion Sanders’ watch though.
“No, we got a bowl game,” Sanders said. “It’s not the last time you’re gonna see them in a Buff uniform.”
If Colorado beats Oklahoma State and two of Iowa State, BYU and Arizona State lose, Colorado will play for the Big 12 title. If that’s the case, there’s still a chance at playing in the College Football Playoff.
But at the very least, Shedeur Sanders and Hunter can definitely put on a show in an upper tier bowl game for a 9-3 or 8-4 Colorado team in a few weeks.
