Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers SNF game delayed due to weather
The Sunday Night Football contest between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers has been delayed by roughly 30 minutes due to inclement weather in the area. Officials have not set an exact start time yet.
A long line of squalls was headed toward the stadium from the northwest, causing officials to delay the start.
Sunday night’s contest will be an important game for both teams.
Pittsburgh has gotten out to a 3-1 start and is protecting a half-game lead in the AFC North standings, with Baltimore close behind at 3-2. The Steelers have gotten there by playing excellent defense and limiting opponents’ scoring.
Dallas, meanwhile, is out to a 2-2 start to the season and trails 4-1 Washington by a considerable margin already. Philadelphia is currently 2-2, as well, while the New York Giants are in last place in the NFC East standings at 2-3. The Cowboys would certainly like to avoid joining them.
But if Dallas is going to win it’s going to take some special efforts from lesser-known players on defense.
The Cowboys are incredibly banged up on the defensive side of the ball heading into the Sunday Night Football contest.
Dallas Cowboys decimated by injuries, inactives
