Dak Prescott injury update: Stephen Jones gives unexpected answer on Cowboys QB, IR decision
In the Dallas Cowboys’ 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a hamstring injury and left the game. On Friday, Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said the organization plans to place Prescott on injured reserve.
“Right now, I don’t think anyone knows whether it will be four weeks, six weeks or the season,” Jones said, per The Athletic‘s Jon Machota. “We’ll just have to continue to monitor that and see where it takes us.”
