Craven Wings 2-Minute Drill: 14 Vols take center stage on Pro Day

Tennessee football continued its busy Thursday on Rocky Top by hosting Pro Day inside the Anderson Training Facility, as representatives from around the NFL and national media outlets were in attendance for the afternoon workout and testings.

The Vols who were taking part in Pro Day activities included Hendon Hooker, Darnell Wright, Jalin Hyatt, Cedric Tillman, Byron Young, Jeremy Banks, Jerome Carvin, LaTrell Bumphus, Princeton Fant, Trevon Flowers, Paxton Brooks, Chase McGrath, Solon Page and Maurese Smith. There are 14 in total.

Throughout the afternoon, each participant was measured to begin the day and then took part in the drills of their choosing. These drills include the 40-yard dash, bench press, L-cone drill and then specific position work. Throwing to the wide receivers and tight end today was UT Martin signal caller Dresser Winn.

Last month, seven Tennessee players were invited to participate at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ind. Those players included Hooker, Wright, Hyatt, Tillman, Young, Banks and Brooks. The NFL Draft is scheduled to begin April 27 at 8 pm eastern for the first round. The draft this year will be held in Kansas City.
