Connor McDavid, Canada 4-Nations Championship with overtime goal

One of the more anticipated hockey games in some time could not have ended in a more dramatic fashion. Canada’s Connor McDavid scored a game-winning overtime goal against the United States, winning the 4-Nations Face-Off Championship.

McDavid may be the hero but Jordan Binnington is a close second. Controversially getting the job of starting goalie, Binnington came up huge for Canada during overtime. Multiple big-time saves were made to keep the United States from winning. A flurry was coming from the Americans but they could not surpass Binnington.

Eventually, Canada got an offensive zone face off and somehow, the best player in the world was wide open in the middle of the ice. Not many, if any, goalies in hockey would be able to save this shot as McDavid is lethal.
