Connor Jones held for two laps after wrecking Matt Mills in fiery crash at Homestead-Miami

What a hard hit! Matt Mills had to escape his smoke-filled truck after catching on fire due to a wreck courtesy of Connor Jones. Jones was livid on the radio about how Mills raced him but it didn’t seem egregious. The wreck was, though and NASCAR took action.

Connor Jones didn’t like the way he was being raced and took matters into his own hands. For that, NASCAR took matters into their own hands. Jones was held for two laps, and is lucky he wasn’t told to go to the garage.

This wreck combined with his radio chatter resulted in the penalty.

“I’m getting f***ing run over, left and f***ing right. I’m done.,” Jones was heard saying. That will earn you a seat on pit road.
