Commit Watch: Will it be a big July for Kansas State?
Which Kansas State targets could be on the verge of making a college decision?
KANSAS STATE OFFENSIVE LINE TARGET GRANT BRIX
Timing is always the hardest aspect to nail down about recruiting. While at one point it appeared that Grant Brix would be committed by now, the Kansas State four-star offensive line commit remains available.
Sources close to K-State continue to believe it is a battle between the Wildcats and Nebraska. However, sources connected to the Huskers and Oklahoma insist that it is a tussle between the Huskers and Sooners.
Most assume we’ll discover the true conclusion of Brix’s recruitment this month.
K-STATE LINEBACKER TARGET MICHAEL BOGANOWSKI
Again, timing is difficult to determine.
It was also thought at one time that Junction City linebacker Michael Boganowski would be off the board at this point. Instead, he has been very patient, thorough and does not want to rush his college choice.
At the same time, he hopes to make his decision before his senior season. He appears torn between Kansas State, Oklahoma and maybe even Kansas.
TRANSFER GUARD
While we do not have names, we do know the Wildcats are still looking for a transfer guard.
K-State head coach Jerome Tang has been adamant about the Wildcats landing two transfers at the position with lots of experience. They also want to have their full roster assembled before leaving for the team trip to the Middle East.
The departure date for Israel is on August 10, so this could happen quickly.
2025 Goodland Athlete Linkon Cure
2025 stud in-state prospect Linkon Cure is not in a hurry to commit just yet.
However, it would not be surprising to see it happen during the Fall. He grew up a Kansas State fan and attended many games. He has also called K-State offensive coordinator Collin Klein one of his role models.
If one wanted to make a guess on the first 2025 Kansas State commit, Cure should be on top of the list of candidates.
