Chris Godwin injury: Buccaneers WR carted off, leg in air cast after scary injury vs. Ravens
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-3) receiver Chris Godwin was carted off the field after suffering a leg injury in the fourth quarter of Monday’s Week 7 home defeat to the Baltimore Ravens (5-2).
Godwin sustained the injury with 43 seconds remaining on Tampa Bay’s final offensive drive of the game, an injury too gruesome for the ESPN broadcast to show. The 28-year-old had his leg in air cast as he was carted off.
Head coach Todd Bowles said after the game that early indications are that Godwin suffered a dislocated ankle.
