Cardale Jones challenges Malik Zaire following former Notre Dame QB trashing Will Howard

Two former college quarterbacks could be putting money on this year’s title game in the College Football Playoff.

Earlier on Sunday, Notre Dame’s Malik Zaire had criticism of QB Willl Howard. In turn, Ohio State’s Cardale Jones has taken up for Howard with a challenge to Zaire.

“I’m willing to bet some money on the game if you are. @MalikZaire8 nothing crazy, just to keep things interesting,” Jones tweeted.

That was in response to one of multiple tweets that Zaire has posted about the Buckeyes ahead of the national championship.

However, Zaire may not be quick to take Jones’ wager on the game.

“I can’t bet everybody lol I’m just saying we are going to win #GoIrish,” Zaire tweeted with a laugh emoji on Sunday.
