Bronny James, son of NBA star LeBron James, suffers cardiac arrest during USC workout

Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, reportedly suffered cardiac arrest during practice with USC, according to TMZ Sports.
A James family spokesperson released a statement to TMZ. Bronny was in the middle of a workout with the Trojans, whom he committed to this spring.
“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” the statement read. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.
“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”
A 9-1-1 call was reportedly made Monday morning from USC’s Galen Center and the 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital.
As the statement read, the high-caliber prospect is in stable condition.
