BREAKING: Elite 2025 DB Anquon Fegans commits to USC
Fantastic news comes out of Los Angeles for the second time today as Oxford (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans has announced his commitment to USC.
Fegans is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Alabama.
Fegans’ announcement comes just one hour after his older bother, Tre’Quon Fegans, announced he would be transferring to USC from Alabama.
While Fegans is currently a four-star in the Industry Rankings, he is the No. 17 overall prospect, which projects as a five-star ranking when rankings expand in the future.
USC defensive backs Coach Donte Williams offered Fegans last week, however, they actually began communicating earlier this year. Another intriguing element to Fegans’s recruitment at USC is his relationship with former USC players Chris Hawkins and Su’a Cravens. They coach him when playing for their Trillion Boys 7v7 Team.
First USC commitment in 2025
Fegans, 6-foot, 190 pounds, is the first commitment in the class of 2025 for the Trojans.
In his recruitment, Fegans held 20 total offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina, Arkansas, Michigan, Oregon, Jackson State, Colorado, Auburn, Marshall, Florida State and Arizona.
Prior to his commitment to USC, Alabama was considered the favorite to land his commitment. After Tre’Quon entered the transfer portal, the odds of Anquon ending up at Alabama dimmed. USC has taken advantage and now will have both brothers in the secondary for the future.

Fegans currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $134K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
