Big Board: Kansas State gearing up for official visits

Big Board: Kansas State gearing up for official visits

1.) MICHAEL BOGANOWSKI (Last: 1)

June is going to be a busy month for Michael Boganowski. He has visits lined up to Stanford, Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida State and Kansas State. The Junction City product will be in Manhattan on June 23. There is still no change, and it will likely come down to the Wildcats and Sooners. A July decision is anticipated.

2.) KAEDIN MASSEY (Last: 2)

Kaedin Massey recently revealed a top six that included K-State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Kansas and Nebraska. Like Boganowski, he will also be in the Little Apple on June 23. His decision also might come down to the Sooners and Kansas State. The offensive tackle wants to be committed by July 1.

3.) GRANT BRIX (Last: 5)

The Wildcats keep hanging around for elite offensive lineman Grant Brix. He will be in Manhattan for an official visit to K-State on June 16, and it will be his sixth time visiting Kansas State. It has been shared that Kyle Rakers may move up his official visit to be in town with Brix since the two are close.

4.) CJ BROWN (Last: 4)

Arkansas-based receiver CJ Brown will also be making his trip to Manhattan on June 23. He was the first receiver to visit K-State under new position coach Matthew Middleton, and the two hit it off pretty well. Brown will also be visiting Arkansas in June. The junior receiver will be announcing his commitment on June 30.

5.) CALEB REDD (Last: 6)

To be honest, there is not much known about the recruitment of defensive end Caleb Redd. He does have four official visits lined up this month, though. The St. Louis product will see Oklahoma, Kentucky, USC and Kansas State. It will be his second time in Manhattan, and the visit will take place on June 23.

6.) DARRION DUPREE (Last: UR)

Though it almost was not noticed, KSO reported that Chicago running back Darrion Dupree recently visited K-State. While it once looked as if his recruitment would revolve around Notre Dame and Michigan, those two are not as involved. Kansas State will likely be going head-to-head with Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan State for his services.

7.) WYATT GILMORE (Last: UR)

Three-star defensive end Wyatt Gilmore recently announced a top five that consisted of K-State, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon and Miami. He will soon be announcing his official visits to each of the five schools.

8.) WITT EDWARDS (Last: UR)

While at one point the Wildcats were not in the market for a tight end in the 2024 class, that has changed because of Oklahoma native Witt Edwards. He blew away K-State assistant Brian Lepak during a workout in front of the coach at his school during the evaluation period. It is anticipated that Kansas State will receive an official visit from the tight end. However, Iowa State and Oklahoma State are also in contention.

9.) JAYSHAWN ROSS (Last: 11)

Jayshawn Ross was once a national recruit with his eyes looking around at other programs that were not in close proximity, but things have changed. He is now focusing on K-State, Iowa State, Missouri and Kansas. All four schools are anticipated to receive an official visit.

10.) TERENCE MARSHALL (Last: 10)

Terence Marshall has a prior relationship with Middleton and grabbed an offer from Kansas State not long ago. It would not be surprising to see the Florida native take a trip to Manhattan.

11.) ASHTON BETHEL-ROMAN (Last: 9)

Despite hosting Ashton Bethel-Roman for a visit during the Spring, he does not have an official visit scheduled to K-State, yet. His official visits that are scheduled so far are to Arkansas and Texas Tech.

12.) EMERSON MANDELL (Last: 7)

Emerson Mandell has really blown up since his Spring visit to Manhattan. His recruitment has been quiet in general.

13.) JOSEPH ANDERSON (Last: UR)

Joseph Anderson is another new name to the Kansas State big board. The St. Louis native was offered just this week, but he is a top target at defensive end. He is in the process of scheduling his official visits. The only one on his docket is to Nebraska this weekend.

14.) ALEX MARTIN (Last: 8)

Alex Martin visited K-State during the Spring as well. We will see if he visits again in the Summer.

15.) JULIUS ELLENS (Last: 12)

Kansas State wants to take another running back to pair with John Price. Julius Ellens has already been to Manhattan. He is in the process of scheduling his official visits.

3.) KYLE RAKERS: The Des Moines offensive lineman was the latest to commit to K-State.

13.) CARSON WILLIAMS: We will see if it comes together between Kansas State and the Houston product.

14.) ASHTON MCSHANE: Like with Williams, it seems as if K-State has slowed the breaks a bit on Ashton McShane.

15.) DEVON JORDAN: His recruitment has exploded. Jordan has been offered by Texas A&M and Alabama in the last handful of days.
