Big Board: Combining the 2024 and 2025 Kansas State targets

Big Board: Combining the 2024 and 2025 Kansas State targets

Due to a lack of overall numbers, KSO combines the 2024 and 2025 Kansas State targets to create the newest big board.

1.) MICHAEL BOGANOWSKI

There is no movement at the top even when we add the 2025 Kansas State targets.

Junction City linebacker Michael Boganowski was in Manhattan again for the team barbecue on Thursday. He will be at Oklahoma on Friday. It will be interesting to see whether or not he reschedules his Kansas strip.

Stay tuned, as there are not many days left before another dead period begins. He could announce his college choice at any point.

2.) GRANT BRIX

Iowa-based offensive lineman Grant Brix was also visited K-State on Thursday. His visit to Nebraska is slated for Sunday and a trip to Oklahoma is also expected. Whispers have started that he may not commit anywhere this Summer.

3.) LINKON CURE

Linkon Cure is the leader in the clubhouse to be the first 2025 Kansas State commit. He visited the Wildcats for the second time this Summer on Thursday. We would be mildly surprised if he doesn’t make his college choice before the football season has finished.

4.) DASAAHN BRAME

K-State is in a great, early spot for Dasaahn Brame of Derby. The tight end has visited Kansas State more than the other campuses and is a dual legacy. In fact, he was in Manhattan on Thursday. His recruitment may be another that comes down between the Wildcats and Oklahoma.

5.) BRYSON HAYES

I am pretty confident Maize wide receiver Bryson Hayes will eventually pick K-State. However, it won’t be easy or quick. He was in Manhattan on Thursday and holds a strong relationship with freshman quarterback Avery Johnson. Hayes also comes from a large Kansas State family.

6.) JAYDEN WOODS

Another Wildcat legacy in Jayden Woods was also at the K-State barbecue. Despite holding a massive offer list, Woods is expected to give Kansas State an honest look. Proximity to home may be a factor for the top player in Kansas in the 2025 cycle.

7.) ANDREW BABALOLA

K-State has positioned themselves well for 2025 Blue Valley Northwest offensive lineman Andrew Babalola. Though the Wildcats were not the first to offer, he holds a strong relationship with assistant Conor Riley.

He is another player that will be in contention to be the top player in Kansas for the 2025 cycle.

8.) ALEX MANSKE

Iowa native Alex Manske was very impressive at a Kansas State camp in June.

Though he is probably the top quarterback target in the 2025 cycle, he also may be the top out-of-state player on the board regardless of position for K-State. Manske has visited Kansas State three times already.

9.) MALACHI CURVEY

The recruitment of 2025 linebacker Malachi Curvey is beginning to mirror that of Asa Newsom. Even down to position and state, it is very similar at this stage. K-State could be a pest for the in-state schools because of it.

10.) CHASE LOFTIN

A great storyline in the 2025 recruiting cycle is what happens at the tight end spot.

Cure is a strong lean and Kansas State is in a great spot for both Brame and Chase Loftin. The Omaha native is the younger brother of K-State tight end Brayden Loftin. He also shared with KSO that receiving his offer from the Wildcats was one of the highlights of his recruitment thus far.

11.) DANE JONES

It is still early for the 2025 Texas wide receiver, but Kansas State left a strong first impression on Dane Jones. He goes to the same school that Andre Davis attended before moving to Kansas and has a strong relationship with Matthew Middleton. SMU and Florida are other teams to watch.

12.) JACKSON JONES

Louisiana native Jackson Jones is a recipient of a recent K-State offer, but like with Dane Jones, Kansas State has left a strong first impression. Baylor, TCU and the Wildcats are standing out to the rising junior at this point.

13.) GARRETT MARTIN

Arizona native Garrett Martin was also offered last month. He holds a strong relationship with K-State coaches Mike Tuiasosopo and Buddy Wyatt. It would not be a shock to see him make it to a Manhattan for a game this season.

14.) COREY SIMMS

Wide receiver Corey Simms of St. Louis did enough to warrant a Kansas State offer. He had a relationship with Middleton that dated back to where the assistant held a job before being hired by the Wildcats. Do not be surprised if a visit is on the horizon.
