Beamer Football Camp Insider: Day 6

Another day of Shane Beamer Football Camp is now in the books. In terms of major targets to watch for the Gamecocks, it was a lighter day, all things considered.
There are still some names of interest to pass along, including a big offensive lineman from the state of Virginia that members of the USC coaching staff were keeping a close eye on throughout the proceedings.
— Let’s begin there. Carter Stallard is a 6-foot-8, 310-pounder from Christiansburg High from the 2025 class.
The sheer size, of course, stood out with a quick eyeball test.
Watching Gamecocks offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley run drills, it was evident he was paying a good bit of attention to Stallard and a bit of extra instruction, too. Analyst and former on-field offensive line coach Greg Adkins had eye on him, too.
The three-star lineman currently carries offers from Duke, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Maryland, and some others. USC now has some data points to mull over for its own evaluation purposes.

— The other top performer on the offensive line – perhaps the best overall, frankly – was a 2026 prospect from the state of North Carolina.
West Forsyth’s Pierre Dean entered the day already carrying offers from Georgia, Miami, NC State, UNC, and multiple others.
After seeing him work out on Monday, we can see why. The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder seemed advanced technically and had the look of someone that could factor in at a variety of spots on the college level.
He won every one-on-one we watched him perform in, and handily so.
The Gamecocks staff had a watchful eye on Dean the entire day; he was greeted upon arriving in the indoor facility by Pete Lembo and Teasley. Those three, plus a couple of Dean’s high school coaches, had an extended conversation before camp began.

— South Carolina’s coaches also got another good look at Shelby (North Carolina) Crest wideout Javarius Green during camp.
He clocked a sub-4.5 second 40 yard dash time and was a player that wide receivers coach Justin Stepp was chatting up plenty during drills and one-on-ones, too.
— It was fun to watch south Florida product Dinnelson Exume during Monday’s camp. He acquitted himself well in one-on-ones and stood out physically, sure.
It was his encouraging and competitive demeanor that also caught our eye.
His brother, Chennelson Exume, bounced back and forth between offensive line and defensive line and also turned in a nice day.
— While a couple of the quarterbacks that were scheduled to be on hand were unable to make it, there were a few of note.
Former Gamecocks passer Anthony Wright was on hand hanging out and still looks like he’d be ready to go in a game if called upon.
His son, Khalel Wright from the 2025 class, concluded his summer camp tour with a day at USC.
Jackson Hamilton, the son of former NFL OC Pep Hamilton, was also on hand. So was Jacob Smith, an NC State baseball commitment who’s also a 2026 quarterback.
