BBNBA: Karl-Anthony Towns’ late 3 seals win for New York Knicks

There was only one game in the NBA on Monday, but it was a good’un. Not only did Karl-Anthony Towns hit the game-clinching 3-pointer with six seconds to go for the New York Knicks to get the win over the Toronto Raptors, but he also had the go-ahead layup just a few plays earlier. Oh, and he also had the key defensive stop right before hitting that aforementioned 3, which was from 29 feet.
In addition to Towns’ clutch performance down the stretch, KAT had a great overall game. The former No. 1 overall pick finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks. That’s not a bad night. Karlito must be proud.
Unfortunately, Immanuel Quickley did not play for the Raptors, as he is still out with an elbow injury. He could return in the next week or two, as reports suggest his target comeback timeframe is mid-December.
