Baylor DL Brendan Bett enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
DL Brendan Bett could have been a useful piece coming off of injury, which caused him to redshirt, from last season. However, he’ll instead be transferring this spring from Baylor.
Bett has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.
Bett appeared in just one game last fall due to injury. In 10 games played, with one start, as a true freshman, though, he posted nine tackles, a sack, and a pair of deflections.
A Killeen, Texas native, Bett played high school football at Ellison. He was the No. 800 overall prospect there as a three-star in the 2023 cycle. He also rated as a Top-100 defensive lineman in the class and a Top-150 recruit in the state of Texas. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
