Arkansas QB Taylen Green injured vs. Ole Miss
Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green was injured in the first quarter of their game against Ole Miss following a 14 yard run.
Green had to be helped up to his feet and was walking gingerly towards the sideline with assistance. It also looked like Green fumbled on the play, but he was ruled down before losing possession.
It appeared Green had his left leg caught underneath a defender while being tackled. He did not come back in during the possession.
Arkansas trailed Ole Miss 7-0 with 5:28 to go in the first quarter at the time of the injury. Freshman Malachi Singleton came in relief on the drive which was in Ole Miss territory.
At that point, Green was two-of-three passing for 38 yards and had four carries for 23 yards.
Coming into the game, Green had 2,056 yards, 11 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 60.6% completion percentage. He also had 395 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
