All-American PA Defensive Lineman Set for June USC Official Visit
Lincoln Riley and Shaun Nua have offered more than 30 2024 defensive linemen thus far. Our guess is they could possibly offer more before summer ends. It’s not highly likely, but it’s definitely possible with a few more summer camps remaining.
At one time we reached out to all of the D-Linemen with offers and 17 said they planed to visit USC between now and Summer. A fairly large percentage of those who David they’d visit, have.
Deyvid Palepale (6-3, 305) from Lansdale (PA) is one of those linemen with a USC offer. He also has offers from Penn St., Michigan, Penn St., Ohio St., South Carolina, Auburn, Washington, Temple, Rutgers, Notre Dame, Pitt, Louisville, Wisconsin, Maryland, Kentucky, Miami, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and more.
USC among Top 3, Official visit Set
On Monday Palepale released a list of his top three schools and USC was among them. USC, Michigan and Penn State made the cut. The Wolverines are the overwhelming favorite per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). They lead 85.2% to 7.1%. Michigan expert EJ Holland recently logged a prediction for #GoBlue.
Palepale has set a USC official visit for June 23-25 and will join St. John Bosco LB Jordan Lockhart that weekend.
The 2024 prospect is currently ranked No. 712 per the 2024 On3 Industry rankings, but has a host of programs are heavily pursuing.
When asked to describe his style of play, the 6-foot-2, 305-pound defensive tackle kept it simple.
“On the field, I cause chaos,” Palepale said. “I can read the offense and defense, whether I’m on offense or defense. I’d say my IQ is pretty high football-wise, and I just play with aggression.”
