Alex Condon injury update: Florida announces final decision for Elite Eight game vs. Texas Tech

Florida is one win away from making the Final Four, facing off against Texas Tech in the Elite Eight Saturday evening. The health of Alex Condon is a major storyline going in, suffering an ankle injury during the Sweet Sixteen win.

Thankfully, it sounds like the Gators will have their star big man. Condon is set to be available for the Texas Tech game — a massive boost for Todd Golden‘s bunch.

“Florida’s Alex Condon (ankle) is fully available for today’s Elite Eight game against Texas Tech, per a school spokesman,” Jon Rothstein said via X. “Re-aggravated a previous ankle injury on Thursday against Maryland. Averages 10.9 PPG and 7.7 RPG.”
