Alabama trending for elite 2025 QB George MacIntyre according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine

Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre is one of the most-coveted prospects in the 2025 cycle, and Alabama seems to have gotten off to a great start with the elite signal-caller.

Alabama currently trends in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine to land MacIntyre’s commitment, with an 80% chance. On3’s Josh Newberg entered an expert prediction in favor of the Crimson Tide with a 65% confidence level.

MacIntyre is the nation’s No. 13 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Tennessee.

MacIntyre visited Tuscaloosa for the Tide’s game against Texas earlier this month and recapped that trip with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.

“The highlights of the visit were spending more time with (Nick) Saban and (offensive coordinator Tommy) Rees as well as commits Jaime Ffrench, Ryan Williams and uncommitted recruit David Sanders,” MacIntyre said.”

MacIntyre said the trip made a positive impression on him, and his interest in Alabama remains strong.

“My interest in Bama is very high,” MacIntyre said. “I love it more every time I go. They are still Alabama, despite one loss.

“Capable of placing high-level throws into tight windows. More of a pass-first quarterback, but shows encouraging pocket movement and improvisational skills as a first-year varsity starter. Posted an efficient sophomore season while playing against good competition. Doubles as a top basketball player with Power 5 offers on the hardwood.
