Alabama social media pays tribute to Nick Saban after field ceremony
Nick Saban may have begun his Saturday in Ann Arbor for ESPN College GameDay but his mind had to be in Tuscaloosa. He physically was there not too long after, seeing the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium dedicated in his name. Not too long after retiring, athletic director Greg Byrne decided a name change was needed.
A ceremony took place at halftime, with Saban, Miss Terry, and his entire family being on the field. Multiple different areas were unveiled during the day. But seeing it inside the stadium had to be a special moment.
Following all of the festivities, Alabama’s social media paid tribute to Saban themselves. A nice photo of the Saban family was caught, catching multiple different areas of which Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium is in sight.
