Alabama OT Elijah Pritchett plans to enter NCAA transfer portal
Alabama right tackle Elijah Pritchett plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Pritchett is the 22nd Crimson Tide player to leave in the winter window.
Pritchett played in all 13 of Alabama’s games this past season and started 12 of them – 10 at right tackle, two at left tackle. According to Pro Football Focus, Pritchett allowed 31 pressures and six sacks during 326 pass-blocking snaps during the 2024 campaign.
This marks the second offseason in a row that Pritchett has entered the transfer portal. He also entered in 2023 but only briefly, changing his mind, withdrawing and returning to UA.
Pritchett’s expected departure leaves Alabama with four offensive tackles for the 2025 season. Left tackle Kadyn Proctor is set to return, as is Wilkin Formby, who also received reps at right tackle this past year as a redshirt freshman. The Tide signed Jackson Lloyd in the 2025 cycle and received a commitment from Ball State transfer Arkel Anugwom.
