Adrian Peterson arrested for DWI after Minnesota Vikings draft party

Adrian Peterson joined Vikings fans for the franchise’s 2025 NFL Draft party in Minnesota on Thursday evening. Evidently, he had a little too much fun, and now he’s paying the price.
The former NFL MVP was arrested early Friday morning, hit with a DWI per TMZ Sports. He reportedly was pulled over at 3:20 a.m. ET after an officer saw him speeding, going 83 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Subsequently, the officer suspected Peterson was drunk, and he was proven right when the former Oklahoma Sooners star blew a .14. TMZ Sports added that the legal limit is .08 in Minnesota. He was then booked into the Hennepin County Jail on 4th-degree DWI, where the Vikings legend was ultimately released.
