A look at 10 notable recruits set to camp with Michigan this week

Michigan is set to host its first on-campus camp of the summer on Wednesday. Here is a look at 10 notable prospects set to be in attendance.

QB Brady Edmunds, Huntington Beach (Calif.) High (2027) — Edmunds has already established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the country in the 2027 recruiting class. He holds offers from the likes of Auburn, Florida State, Oregon, Texas and Washington. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Michigan jump in the mix with a strong camp.

QB Joaquin Kavouklis, Clearwater (Fla.) Tarpon Springs (2027) — Kavouklis is another impressive young signal-caller that will continue to see his stock rise over the next few years. He boasts early offers from Arkansas, Syracuse, UCF and USF and is firmly on Michigan’s radar. By the way, he trains alongside top 2026 Michigan quarterback target Brady Hart with private coach Baylin Trujillo.

WR Messiah Hampton, Rochester (N.Y.) James Monroe (2026) — Hampton is ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the state of New York next cycle. The 6-foot, 170-pounder holds offers from Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, West Virginia and others. Hampton has plenty of interest in Michigan, and an offer would be very meaningful for his recruitment.

TE Brock Harris, Saint George (Utah) Pine View (2026) — Ranked as the No. 3 tight end and No. 48 overall prospect nationally, Harris is one of the best recruits in the country next cycle and already has a Michigan offer in hand. This will make his first-ever trip to Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines are looking to make a strong impression. Alabama, Oregon and USC are some other early players.

TE JC Anderson, Decatur (Ill.) Mt. Zion (2026) — An On300 prospect, Anderson is another tight end with an early offer from Michigan and is also high on the priority board. Anderson visited Michigan for the spring game in April and has been developing a strong relationship with position coach Steve Casula. He is also high on programs like Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas A&M.

TE Lincoln Watkins, Port Huron (Mich.) Northern (2026) — Watkins does not hold an offer from Michigan, but the in-state tight end has been to Ann Arbor on numerous occasions. Watkins will perform in front of Casula in hopes of getting his long awaited scholarship. Right now, the three-star prospect holds offers from Miami, Oregon, Penn State and others.

TE Lincoln Keyes, Saline (Mich.) High (2026) — Keyes is another in-state tight end that doesn’t hold a Michigan offer just yet but has been to campus for multiple unofficial visit. Like with Watkins, an offer from the Wolverines would make U-M the frontrunner in this recruitment. Right now, the three-star prospect holds offers from Illinois, Michigan State, Wisconsin and others.

TE Holden Niemi, Dexter (Mich.) High (2027) — Niemi is starting to generate plenty of buzz as one of the better tight ends nationally in the 2027 recruiting class. He does not have an early Michigan offer, but that could change with a strong camp tomorrow. Niemi has offers in hand from Duke, Wisconsin and a handful of MAC programs.

OL Breck Kolojay, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy (2026) — An On300 prospect, Kolojay picked up an offer from Michigan during the spring evaluation period. The fact that he’s visiting just a month later shows how interested he is in the Wolverines. A native of Colorado, Kolojay has trained alongside Michigan offensive lineman Connor Jones. Along with U-M, Kolojay holds offers from Miami, Oregon, Texas and others.

DB Zeth Thues, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro (2026) — Thues is starting to see his recruitment pick up as he holds offers from Arizona State, Washington State, Wisconsin and others. Thues is making the long trip from to Ann Arbor from out West and would love to notch an offer from Michigan. He is projected to play safety at the next level but can move around.
