2025 Top-100 IOL SJ Alofaituli sees ” special things going on” at USC
Yesterday, I wrote about the early interest in USC from one elite 2025 offensive lineman and today, there is another one to add to the list. This interest comes from Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman interior offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli.
Alofaituli is the No. 106 overall prospect and No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Nevada.
On3 ranks Alofaituli higher than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 95 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle. He also ranks as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman and No. 1 prospect in Nevada.
What Alofaituli had to say about USC
Josh Henson and USC extended an offer to Alofaituli this past May. The 1st Team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American is receiving interest from the top programs in the country. USC is one of early interest for him.
“I definitely have interest in USC. Some of my old teammates like Zach [Branch] and Zion [Branch and also Fabian [Ross] is there. There is definitely special things going on in the program.”
Alofaituli has yet to visit USC in the time of his recruitment, but he knows that will be his next step in his progression with the Trojans.
“For me, I really just have to take visits and to get to speak to the coaches.”
As of this time, while Alofaituli is reeling in offers, he is not quite sure what exactly he is looking for in his future school. He is taking his time and doing things his way.
“It’s hard to say right now,” he said on appeals in certain schools. “I’m still trying to decide my major, but so many great programs are reaching out, and I feel very blessed. I’m just doing my research.”

Alofaituli holds offers from USC, UNLV, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Penn State, BYU, Arizona, Miami, Nebraska, Oregon, Hawaii, Utah, Michigan, Colorado, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Stanford.
On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, hometown UNLV currently has the lead to land a commitment from Alofaituli at 7.9%. USC falls right behind at 6.9%.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Alofaituli has an On3 NIL Valuation of $46K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time
