LOOK: Ole Miss hits the practice field, as mid-summer break ends and push to fall camp begins
After a brief, mid-summer break, Ole Miss football got back at it this week for the second phase of its summer strength and conditioning program.
“Everything’s going good,” Ole Miss veteran safety Isheem Young said this week. “We’re just getting back into it. Just got back from a little break. We’ve been doing a lot of football in June. We’re going to be doing even more with more positioning (in July).
“(Thursday) we had team run. They’re saying it’s going to be harder than last year, and last year was hard as hell.”
The Rebels are now allowed and are incorporating more on-field team activities into their workouts, all in advance of fall-camp practices, which open the first week of August.
“I’m enjoying all the guys,” Nebraska/Alabama transfer Stephon Wynn exclusively told the Ole Miss Spirit last week. “Everyone is hungry. Everyone wants to win and contribute.
