3-2-1: A Kansas State defensive line prediction

THREE THINGS WE LEARNED ABOUT KANSAS STATE
2. MISSES: Jerome Tang and K-State did not have as good of luck. Though they were in the top spot for the duration of his process, they came up short on West Virginia guard Joe Toussaint. He picked Texas Tech over the Wildcats. Kansas State is also expected to miss on Mohamed Wague, despite him committing on his visit to Manhattan. Alabama convinced him to visit Tuscaloosa and closed. The Crimson Tide should receive the good news on Wednesday.
3. KU: Not only have Duke, UConn and Michigan offered top 2024 Kansas State target Patrick Ngongba, but Bill Self and Kansas have entered the picture as well. The Wildcats are in a favorable spot with more left to play out, though.
TWO QUESTIONS
1. STAFFING: Interestingly enough, K-State has yet to replace Kevin Sutton since he departed for IMG Academy. Anthony Winchester received a promotion but another hire has not been made. Remember, Tang shared that they may find it prudent to not make another move. The situation is being assessed.
2. TIMELINES: On the football side, two big fish remain in Brix and Boganowski. Nebraska is the stiffest competition for Brix and Oklahoma continues to be the thorn in the side in the pursuit of Boganowski. Little has changed and little will change between now and the time of their announcements. So, the question that remains is when each of the two Kansas State targets will go forward with their college choices. I lean towards at some point this month, but there is no certainty.
ONE K-STATE PREDICTION
1. TOBI: Do not be surprised if you see Tobi Osunsanmi take some defensive line snaps for K-State this season.
