The Bengal Tiger Prediction: OT Ethan Calloway

North Carolina four-star offensive tackle Ethan Calloway is set to reveal his college choice following a month of official visits.
Florida, Georgia, Penn State and LSU all landed official visits this month from the 6-foot-7, 300-pounder.
The Tigers head into his decision as the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) leader.
The Prediction for Ethan Calloway
The Bengal Tiger’s Shea Dixon and Billy Embody both entered RPM picks for Calloway to pick LSU. We are sticking with the Tigers ahead of his decision.
Following his official visit to Baton Rouge a week ago, the buzz behind the scenes has been strong in favor of the Tigers.
As we always says, a good tool in following recruiting is this: watch what a recruit does, not always what they say.
In this case, Calloway hasn’t said much, leaving recruiting fans wondering which direction he might be truly leaning. If you look at his actions, a lot of signs point towards LSU.
LSU was the very first school to offer Calloway a scholarship. He’s now a Top 10 offensive tackle prospect on the On3 rankings, which shows the Tigers were way out front on this one.
Then, there’s the reality that in the span of about nine months, Calloway made three visits from North Carolina to Louisiana – one in the fall, one in the spring and one in the summer. He’s also maintained an open line of communication since landing the LSU offer, and that has allowed offensive line coach Brad Davis and the staff to really build on the relationship they have with Calloway and his family.
The Tigers have one interior offensive lineman committed in Khayree Lee, who is the top-ranked offensive line prospect in Louisiana this cycle. Without any other offers out to Louisiana offensive lineman, the LSU staff had to swing for some big names and win out-of-state battles.
They are on the verge of doing that with Calloway, a 6-foot-6.5 prospect with an 83-plus inch wingspan.
Calloway is the No. 215 overall prospect and No. 17 offensive tackle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in North Carolina.
On3 has Calloway rated higher than other recruiting services according to the On3 Industry Comparison. He is the No. 74 overall prospect, No. 10 offensive tackle and No. 1 player in North Carolina according to the 2024 On300.
