The CaneSport staff is weighing in on some key questions with the start of fall drills just over a month away. Today’s question that each member of the CaneSport staff will address: Is Texas A&M a must-win game for Cristobal? So don’t miss the take of each of us.
Then we had an item on former Hurricanes Eduardo Clements, Davon Johnson coaching together at Booker T. When Johnson arrived at Miami as a true freshman wide receiver in 2008 and Clements came on board as a Hurricanes running back signee in 2010, neither could have ever predicted where they’d wind up after their football careers ended. Sticking with the recruiting theme, during Miami’s final 7-on-7 competition of the summer on Sunday, the Hurricanes hosted a handful of elite prospects from across the state of Florida. By the end of the day, Orlando (Fla.) Jones High School wide receiver Vernell Brown III stole the show and earned an offer. He shares his thoughts.
