Purdue OL Gus Hartwig signs free-agent NFL contract
Purdue center Gus Hartwig didn’t hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he has signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.
The Zionsville, Ind., native took part in the Shrine Bowl in January, where he began to turn the heads of NFL scouts. Hartwig took a visit to Kansas City in the pre-draft build-up, and he did Zooms with several others.
Hartwig isn’t the only Boilermaker offensive lineman headed to the NFL. Marcus Mbow was selected by Giants in the fifth-round.
