Joel Klatt Predicts Two Oregon Players Drafted in Round One

We have inched our way close to the NFL draft which will begin on Thursday night. Yes that’s right, not only do you have the Oregon Spring game this weekend, the NFL draft runs through Saturday as well.
Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt offered up his final mock draft ahead of Thursday. The latest buzz around the league suggest some shake ups with trades and guys moving up and down lists. Which is pretty common at this time. Teams passing along good and bad news with an agenda in mind.
Oregon is well positioned to see a record-breaking number of players drafted this year. Something Dan Lanning has talked about in his last few media sessions. The Ducks could have as many as a dozen players getting drafted by NFL teams through the weekend.
Klatt thinks Oregon might have two players going in the first round on Thursday night.
His latest prediction has two Oregon players going back-to-back in fact. At pick No. 30, defensive tackle Derrick Harmon would end up with the Buffalo Bills. I’ve seen a ton of mocks predicting him closer to No. 27 going to the Ravens. It seems he’ll end up as a late 20 to early 30 pick.
Next in his mock draft is offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. going at pick No. 31 to the Kansas City Chiefs. Like Harmon, Conerly seems to be floating between a late first round pick and early second round pick in most mocks.
There has been a lot of talk about the quarterbacks in this draft and the top ten. Here is a look at his projected top ten to get called Thursday night.
Titans – QB Cam Ward
Browns – ATH Travis Hunter
Giants – EDGE Abdul Carter
Patriots – OT Will Campbell
Jaguars – RB Ashton Jeanty
Raiders – DT Mason Graham
Jets – OT Armand Membou
Panthers – LB Jalon Walker
Saints – QB Shedeur Sanders
Bears – OT Kelvin Banks Jr.
