NC State WR transfer Dacari Collins sets visits to UCLA, Baylor

NC State wide receiver transfer Dacari Collins is set to visit UCLA from Friday to Saturday and Baylor from Monday to Tuesday, his agents tell On3’s Pete Nakos. Collins began his career at Clemson.
Collins is former top 200 recruit, ranking No. 186 in the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 29 WR in the 2021 cycle, and No. 18 player out of the state of Georgia.
Spending four years at the collegiate level, he split those years at both Clemson and NC State. His true freshman season saw his capture 16 receptions for 221 yards. He played one game the following season before transferring to NC State in 2023. In two seasons with the Wolfpack, Collins compiled 38 receptions for 526 yards and four touchdowns. He’s coming off the best season of his career statistically as well, recording 24 receptions for 314 yards and two scores.
He will have one year of eligbility remaining to play at his next school. Whether that ends up being the Bruins or Bears remains to be seen.
