NC State’s Trey Parker plans to enter transfer portal

NC State rising sophomore guard Trey Parker plans to enter the transfer portal, he told On3’s Joe Tipton.
The Fayetteville, N.C., native is the seventh departure since Kevin Keatts was fired. He joins forwards Ben Middlebrooks, Dennis Parker Jr. and Ismael Diouf, as well as guards Bryce Heard, Marcus Hill and Mike James in the portal. NC State has eight available scholarships for the 2025-26 season.
Parker averaged 4.6 points with 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists as a freshman with the Wolfpack. He appeared in 27 games, including one start, in his collegiate debut campaign. Parker shot 41 percent from the field, including 35.7 percent from 3-point distance in his lone season at NC State.
