Tyreek Hill domestic dispute: 911 call audio obtained by NFL

Following an alleged domestic dispute with his wife at his home on Monday, NFL star Tyreek Hill is under the spotlight once more. And the 911 call audio has made its way into the public domain.

Andy Slater released a short clip of the 911 call that seemingly features Hill’s mother-in-law screaming before a calmer voice takes over on the call. The second voice notes, “I am so scared” after telling the operator that Hill may “lose his career over this.”

According to Slater, the NFL has also requested the 911 audio. It will likely review the call and determine if any action should be taken with regards to the league’s personal conduct policy.

According to an incident report obtained by local medial outlet Local 10 News, officers arrived at Tyreek Hill’s residence just before 2 p.m. on Monday, responding to an “assault in progress.”

Responding officers interviewed Keeta Hill, his wife, and her mother, Alesia Vaccaro at the scene. Vaccaro said that she had been living with her daughter and granddaughter, Hill’s daughter, at the residence since November. The report states that Vaccaro described Hill as being “very aggressive and impulsive,” telling officers that she feared for her daughter’s safety.

Local 10 News reports that Vaccaro was the one who alerted authorities after Hill allegedly threw a laptop at the floor before grabbing his daughter and begin walking toward the balcony of their high-rise condominium. This followed an argument between the two, after Keeta Hill reportedly told him that he was not involved enough in his child’s life. Tyreek Hill then, “without malice,” grabbed his child from Keeta Hill and began walking with her.

The couple have reportedly been arguing more often and have even been attending couples counseling, which is “not working out.” Keeta Hill also told authorities that she is in the process of filing for a divorce.

Police said that Tyreek Hill admitted to grabbing the baby, and told his wife that “I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want.” The report reiterates that the incident never became physical, but officers did observe a bruise of Keeta Hill’s upper chest. She stated that it may have occurred when Hill took the child away from her.

Keeta Hill declined the option to provide a written statement to police, and officials left the home around 2:40 p.m. No arrests were made during the incident. She reportedly remained at the residence with Vaccaro and her child after the incident.
