On3 four-star wide receiver Parker Livingstone talks Texas after official trip

Two years ago, Parker Livingstone gave up baseball so he could focus on football. And even though he returned to the diamond last season for Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy, the gridiron is where Livingstone sees his future. After his official visit to Austin over the weekend, the On3 four-star wide receiver is ready to make his decision.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder holds offers from Texas, LSU, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Texas A&M, but this visit to Austin might’ve given the Horns the edge.
“Phenomenal,” said Livingstone, about his Austin official visit. “It’s Texas. If UT asks you to take an official visit, you say ok and do it. My family had a great time. The players were awesome, the coaches were great. It’s just a really good culture down there. You can tell the team likes being around each other.”
He was hosted by Colton Vasek and Michael Taaffe, and hung out with Arch Manning and 2024 Texas commit Trey Owens.
“We just talked a lot of ball and a lot of buy-in,” Livingstone told Inside Texas. “Arch and the guys think the culture is building and they expect to be good in 2023. Texas is building a roster to be ready when they join the SEC next year.”
He’s ready for his July 1st announcement, he told Inside Texas.
“I’ve enjoyed the process, but now it’s time to make a decision,” said Livingstone. “I’m ready.”
Livingstone notched 109 career receptions for 2,078 yards and 33 touchdowns entering his senior season. Livingstone was also a star on the diamond, helping the Lovejoy Leopards make a long run ion the 2023 playoffs this spring. His brother is a pitcher at Texas Tech.
Livingstone is the No. 383 overall prospect, No. 64 wide receiver, and No. 64 prospect in Texas in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
