Steve, Loreal Sarkisian announce birth of son: ‘Our hearts are so full of love’

Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal, had some fantastic news to share on social media on Friday night. The Sarkisians announced the birth of their son through Loreal Sarkisian’s Instagram page. She made a brief post on her Instagram page about the announcement: “He’s arrived, and our hearts are so full of love and gratitude! Embracing these first days quietly resting, adjusting, and soaking in every little moment has been amazing! Thank you for your love and for respecting this sweet time of privacy.”

It’s a bit of a surprising announcement from the Sarkisians, since they publicly announced their divorce in July of 2024. The Sarkisians were married in 2020 while Steve was the offensive coordinator at Alabama. After he took the Texas head coach job, they moved to Austin, and Loreal has been one of his most vocal supporters. Her game day outfits have also been a staple for the Longhorns over the years.

In their statement, the Sarkisians said “many heartfelt conversations” factored into their decision to jointly file for divorce. They also cited their busy professional lives with their careers – Steve as a college football coach and Loreal as a wardrobe stylist – also played roles.
