4-star QB Landon Duckworth locks in four official visits
Jackson (Ala.) four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth has seen his recruitment explode following a decommitment from South Carolina last summer.
After dominating as a junior and winning a state title, the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is gearing up for one final run at the high school level. He’s also working towards making another commitment.
Duckworth has now locked in official visits to four of his top schools. He told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday evening that trips to Georgia (May 30), South Carolina (June 6), Florida State (June 13) and Ole Miss (June 20) have been set.
He is the No. 53 overall prospect and No. 6 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 player in Alabama.
“There are some other schools I am looking at, but Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida State are the main schools I am focused on right now,” Duckworth told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “All of those are talking to me a lot, they want me to visit in the spring and I am planning to take official visits to all four.”
