Newsstand: Former Notre Dame OL Ronnie Stanley signs lucrative NFL contract extension
Former Notre Dame football consensus All-America offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley is staying in Baltimore.
On Saturday, the Ravens announced they re-signed Stanley, their No. 6 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. According to Fox Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Stanley’s deal is three years worth $60 million. It includes $44 million guaranteed.
For the first time in his NFL career, Stanley played every one of the team’s games (19), earning Pro Bowl recognition for the first time in his career. He had only played 31 in the previous four seasons combined due to knee and ankle injuries.
Stanley, who was also a Pro Bowler and a first-team All-Pro selection in 2019, has made over $108 million in his nine-year NFL career.
