Illinois High School Boys Basketball Class 4A Super Sixteen 2025: Tournament Bracket, Scores

Only 16 teams remain in contention for the 2025 Illinois high school boys basketball Class 4A state championship. The ‘Super Sixteen’ includes finalists from the Collinsville, Lisle (Benet Academy), St. Charles (East), and Winnetka (New Trier) Sectionals.

Sectional finalists from Hinsdale (Central), Richton Park (Rich Township), Schaumburg, and Waukegan complete the competitor’s field for the state title. The Illinois Class 4A Super Sixteen starts on March 7 and the knockout format tournament will continue until the state championship game on March 15 at the University of Illinois’ State Farm Center.

Leading the pack in this elite group of basketball teams are Kenwood Academy, the second-best team in the Illinois On3 Composite Team Rankings. Other highly ranked teams in the Class 4A Super Sixteen are Quincy (3rd), Homewood-Flossmoor (4th), and Benet Academy (8th). Other competitors in the top 25 include Fremd (14th) and Rolling Meadows (15th).
