Nebraska volleyball faces Kansas in Spring match as part of “Husker Games”
As a part of Nebraska’s spring “Husker Games,” the Nebraska volleyball team will play against Kansas at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on April 26. The match will start at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Dani Busboom Kelly’s first match as the Huskers’ head coach will be in Devaney rather than in a small town around Nebraska like NU’s typical spring matches. She will face Kansas’s first-year coach, Matt Ulmer, who moved on after eight seasons at Oregon.
Nebraska football’s spring game will look very different in 2025. The Huskers and head coach Matt Rhule have moved on from a traditional spring game. Because of that, athletic director Troy Dannen and NU expanded April 26 to involve more Husker sports.

Football starts the day with an event at 2 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. They will do a 7-on-7 football game, skills contests and more. Husker football legends will compete in skills contests, too. Before Nebraska football begins, there will be a women’s flag football game between Midland University and UNL all-star intramural team at 1 p.m.
Soccer will participate in the “Husker Games” with a game against Wyoming at Hibner Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
Husker fans will get their first look at Nebraska volleyball’s squad this spring. It will not be their full 2025 roster as Baylor opposite hitter Allie Sczech and freshmen middle blockers Manaia Ogbechie and Kenna Cogill arrive in late May.
Tickets go on sale on March 11 at 9 a.m. CT on Huskers.com. Tickets vary – $10 UNL Students, $20 Standing Room, $30 C Level, $45 B Level, $45 A Level and $60 courtside/VIP.
