Lucy Olsen, Hannah Stuelke earn All-Big Ten honors

As is the yearly tradition, the day before the Big Ten Tournament tips off, the conference announces the league honors, highlighting players across the Big Ten for their efforts on the court throughout the season. Iowa point guard Lucy Olsen was named a First Team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and the media, while forward Hannah Stuelke earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors by the media.

A native of Collegeville, PA, Lucy Olsen spent the first three years of her college career at Villanova, before transferring to Iowa for her final year of eligibility. In 27 starts for the Hawkeyes, Lucy is averaging a team-best 18.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. She leads the team in made field goals (183) and assists (129), while she is second in made threes (44). Olsen has scored in double figures in 24 games this season, including 11 games with 20+ points. She enters the Big Ten Tournament needs just nine points to reach 2,000 for her career.

As a player at Villanova, Lucy was named to the Big East All-Rookie Team (2021-22), Second Team All-Big East (2022-23), First Team All-Big East (2023-24), Big East Most Improved Player (2023-24), and AP Honorable Mention All-American (2023-24).

A native of Cedar Rapids, IA, Hannah Stuelke is in her third year with the Hawkeyes and has now appeared as an All-Big Ten honoree in all three seasons. In 27 starts, Hannah is averaging 13.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. She leads the team in offensive rebounds (70) and made free throws (105), while she is second in total rebounds (212) and third in made field goals (122). Stuelke has scored in double figures in 21 games, including 12 games with 15+ points and seven games with 10+ rebounds. Earlier in the year, Hannah surpassed 1,000 points for her career, totaling 17 points in the Hawkeyes win over Minnesota.

During her time at Iowa, Stuelke has earned Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year (2022-23) and Second Team All-Big Ten honors (2023-24). She is one of 44 players in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points and currently 40th on the all-time Hawkeye scoring list.
