Newsstand: Michigan DT Mason Graham on injury, not participating in NFL Combine drills

Tweets Of The Day

Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham is one of the top prospects at the NFL Draft, but he wasn’t able to go through testing and on-field drills with the rest of the defensive linemen on Thursday. Graham is being held out due to a left heel bruise, but expects to compete at the Wolverines’ March 21 pro day.

“I wanted to be able to showcase what I can do,” Graham said. “Obviously, had a little something going on, but looking forward to pro day.”

Graham was asked earlier in the week if there’s a play or some plays that exemplify what kind of player he is, and he said to “roll the tape” on the Wolverines’ 13-10 win over Ohio State.

“I mean, yeah,” Graham said. “When you play at Michigan, that’s the biggest game on our schedule, no matter who else we’re playing. I feel like I really dominated that game, and I feel like it was a good showcase of what I can do.”

“I just want to leave my mark, being not just great on the field but being a good person.”

Quote Of The Day

“It was definitely disappointing. We’re not used to losing the way we did this year. But we finished strong, we did what we had to do. We beat Ohio State, beat Alabama in the bowl game, so we did our best, and now we gotta keep growing off of that.”
